Sources hooked up via HDMI - this usually happens on occasion as HDMI, while providing a digital connection, also transmits small amounts of energy through this connection type (+5V charge is 50mA). Fortunately, there is nothing to worry about any damage as this is even lower as USB before enumeration is 100mA.
RESOLUTION:
Simply turn off the source that the media player to supposed to display/sound as well as the media player. Unplug then plug the HDMI cable on both ends. Turn on the media box player and Source (TV and/or Amplifier).
This should resolve most issues.
If issue still persists, try a different HDMI cable.
REMEMBER! Always have all sources that the HDMI cable attaches to OFF before unplugging or plugging in. Not doing so may cause damage in the long run.
